Being from Newcastle I found myself drawn to this wonderful black and white shop. Filled with one off pieces, this little boutique called Superficial, fast became my favourite in the whole of Berlin. I visited it three times in 5 days.

Loving having the Hoff looking over me whilst I search for a good bit of vintage at The Garage.

Blumen?

Slightly over excited.... i think so

The sixties bar

Good old American diner... yes I am a tourist and yes the first food I had was American, not German. Standard.

Boutique banter

My purse has been blitzed. Pacman earings definitely a best buy, the five items of clothing I probably won't ever wear... not so much. Ahhh... and what? it makes my wardrobe look pretty nifty.

High Voltage

Expecting a well-to-do fashion party, but instead greeted by a hardcore techno scene.

Architecture

Berlin is filled with hidden treasures, big and small, famous and unknown.

Something to capture the imagination amongst the grey backdrop of the Berlin weather

A lick of paint

Holes from gun shots still visible on the buildings walls.

Jewish Memorial

So grey and sad, yet so visually pleasing. It really portrays the harshness and tragedy of the holocaust.

The Wall

It's amazing how beautiful expressive scribblings can be. Seeing the wall really makes the history of Berlin sink in and hit home.
